Lunch Lecture

Last year, our speaker at the Lunch Lecture was be Ireen Wüst. With her journey from aspiring dreams to becoming a speedskating icon, she has been enchanted by the magic of the Olympic rings. By winning a gold medal in 5 consecutive Olympic Games, she stands as the most successful Olympic athlete ever!

During her talk she told us all about the life of a top athlete. Winning as an underdog when you are already on top, navigating the intense pressures of competition, achieving medals in seemingly impossible situations, not winning against all expectations, overcoming a burn-out, struggling through depression, and initiating her own sport steam.
